Rescue is a vast subject which is very useful to our daily life. in there, we divide rescue into three main subjects
1. Rescue and Search Techniques
2. First Aid Techniques

Before we start to understand Rescue and Search Techniques we Should Know About Personal Protective Equipment.

Personal Protective Equipment

All types of equipment and dress protect a rescuer from internal and external hazards so a rescuer can perform rescue operations easily and freely are called personal protective equipment.

Types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Rescue Basic PPE's


A person must wear Basic PPE which includes
1. Safety Helmet
        Safe head from dangers.
2. Safety Goggles
        For eyes safety.
3. Gloves
        hand safety
4. Safety Shoes
        Safety for feet.
5. Dust Mask
        For safe inhalation of fresh air
6. Knee and elbow Pads
        Safety for knees and elbow
7. Safety Rope
        10-meter rope used for personal safety.
8. Whistle
        Whistle is used for Signals
9 Ear Plugs.
        For ear safety ear earplugs are used

2.1 Situational PPE



        The selection and use of specialized PPE is activity-based and is driven by results of the corresponding hazard assessment and applicable regulations
1. Fire Suits
        Fire suit is used for body protection from heat and fire.
2. Chemical Suits (A, B,& C)
        A chemical suit is used to protect the body from chemicals.
3. Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
        It is used for respiratory. fresh air is filled in the cylinder and used for confined space entry and polation air.
4. Air Purifier Respirator Mask (APR)
        Purification of air for breath.
5. Ear lugs
6. Elbow and Knee Pad
7. Torch
8. D Rings
9. Figure Of Eight
